Privacy Policy for NITYĀ (Sanskrit Learning App)

NITYĀ ("the app") is developed by Ganesh Patil. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address, display name, and optional avatar selection. You may sign in with email and password, with Google, or with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email", we only receive Apple's private relay address, not your real email address.
Learning progress: lessons completed, XP, streaks, daily-goal settings, and leaderboard scores, stored so your progress syncs across devices.
Usage and diagnostics: anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) that help us improve the app.
Push notification token: if you enable notifications, a device token is used to send learning reminders (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
HOW WE USE IT
To provide and sync your learning experience across devices. To show family profiles and leaderboards you choose to participate in. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data for cross-app tracking.
ADVERTISING
NITYĀ shows a small number of ads from Google AdMob: one before some practice quizzes, and one you can choose to watch to restore your daily lives.
• Ads are non-personalized. We request them without any advertising identifier, so they are based on general context rather than on anything about you.
• We do not ask for tracking permission, and we do not use your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS or your Advertising ID on Android.
• All ads are requested at Google's "G" content rating, their most family-appropriate setting.
• To deliver an ad and to prevent fraud, Google processes limited technical information such as your IP address and device type. Google's advertising policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging) to store account and progress data, measure app usage, report crashes, and deliver notifications. Firebase's privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

DATA DELETION
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Profile → Account → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profiles, learning progress, streaks, friend connections, and leaderboard entries. You may also contact us at ganeshp0001@gmail.com to request deletion.
CHILDREN
The app is suitable for all ages. Family profiles are managed by the account holder. We collect no more data from children than described above, and because ads are non-personalized and rated "G", no child's data is used to target advertising.
